ANNIKA SAYS YES TO CHINA

Annika Sorenstam is set to headline the LPGA's first visit to China when she competes at the inaugural Grand China Air LPGA in October.

The tournament organisers confirmed today (Tuesday) that the Swede, currently the games most successful women's golfer still active but due to retire at the end of the season, would tee-off in the $1.8m Chinese event on October 24 at the Hainan West Coast Golf Club in the Hainan island capital of Haikou.
