Phil Mickelson consults his notes on the fourth green. Police follow Adam Scott after two men were arrested yesterday when a scuffle broke out between them and Scott's caddy, Tony Navarro. The scuffle broke out after the spectators heckled the world number 3 and Navarro confronted them.

Padraig Harrington makes his par on the fifth to stay at level for the day, and 3-over overall Tiger was not able to sustain is momentum from the previous round, and carded a double bogey on the first. Retief Goosen fires a drive down the 5th. He went on to birdie the hole, but is out of the running at 9-over for the tournament.
With only one birdie to show for his efforts, Ernie Els carded a 74 and is 3-over for the day and the tournament. Oliver Wilson plays a bunker shot on the spectacular third as Robert Dinwiddie looks on Rocco Mediate got off to a stormer, moving three clear after five.
Hunter Mahan carded a useful 69 to move to two-over for the tournament. A double bogey on the 1st, a bogey on the 4th, and a birdie on the 7th see Tiger remain in contention at level par after nine. Luke Donald misses a rare birdie opportunity on the fifth.
Lee Westwood played consistent golf to stay in the attack, and will go into the final round just one shot behind Tiger. A disastrous round for overnight leader Stuart Appleby, who shot a 79 and dropped to T19. Tiger celebrates with his caddie Steve Williams after sinking a huge eagle putt on the 13th.
