David Toms' form dipped somewhat after he romped to victory in the WGC Match Play at La Costa, but the Louisiana native is back firing on all cylinders and a strong finish to the season looks a distinct possibility. Patient and very rarely flustered, he has has the ideal temperament for the big events and even though he was unable to add any more majors to the lone PGA title he owns, 2005 hasn't been a bad year. Anytime you can pick up 10 top 10 finishes on the tough but lucrative PGA Tour - they include his La Costa 1st, a 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th, two 5ths and a 6th, this one at the WGC-American Express Championship, you can call it a good year.
