The 2005 season hasn't been a good one for the Big Easy who has two US Opens and one Open Championship title to his credit. He wasn't able to win anything on the US Tour this year and at no time did he really threatened in the three Majors he played - he missed the PGA after suffering a knee injury while at play with his children in July and underwent surgery that will keep him out of tournament golf until the SAA Open in December. He won thrice on the European Tour in 2005, but his lack of victories in the US and the Majors have cost him and he has thus dropped down on both the US and European money lists and has slowly slipped back from No 3 last year to No 5 in the World Rankings.
