Vijay Singh enjoyed a quite phenomenal year in 2004, winning nine times and collecting a third major title at the USPGA at Whistling Straits. He hasn't been quite as successful this year, but he's still up there, holding his own at No 2 in the World. The Fijian has shown no signs of taking his foot off the gas, securing three titles at the Sony, the Shell Houston and the Buick Opens and displaying a quite amazing amount of consistency week-in and week-out - until most recently, when inexplicably he missed two cuts in a row at The Funai Classic and Chrysler Championship. Besides Tiger Woods, he is the only player to have finished inside the top 10 in all four majors, his 5th places at the Masters and the Open at St Andrews being the best of them. Ended his year with a joint 4th place at The Tour Championship and in 2nd place behind Tiger Woods on The US Money list with earnings from prize money at nearly $8.02m
